Adbrew and K2 Health Win Marketplace Acceleration at the 2026 Walmart Connect Partner Awards
Earlier this month, Adbrew and our customer K2 Health won the Marketplace Acceleration award at the 2026 Walmart Connect Partner Awards.
This was our first year entering. In August, we shared that we’d been recognized in the Marketplace Acceleration category, and we were happy with that alone. Winning it was a nice surprise.
What the category is for
Walmart Connect expanded its Partner Awards from five categories to eight this year. Marketplace Acceleration is for partners “accelerating growth for Walmart Marketplace sellers through smart, effective use of our advertising.” In practice, that means third-party sellers, and whether their advertising actually grew the business: sales, sales velocity, and return on ad spend.
Where we were coming from
For most of Adbrew’s life, our work has been on Amazon, and the Amazon Ads Partner Awards have been a fair measure of how that work is going. We’ve won in three consecutive years:
2023: Performance (APAC), for a full-funnel program that grew a client’s ad sales by 49% and new-to-brand sales by 99%.
2024: Global Expansion, for running Encasa’s advertising across 11 marketplaces and helping launch them in Sweden and the Netherlands.
2025: Challenger Brand (APAC), for our work with BoldCare.
Across those three years, we were also a finalist 12 times. So when customers started asking us to build for Walmart as well, we weren’t starting from zero. The question was how much of what we’d learned would carry over.
Bringing Amazon lessons to Walmart

Most of the brands we work with don’t sell on just one marketplace. They run Amazon and Walmart side by side, often with the same team. When we started building for Walmart, the quick option was a separate Walmart tool with its own screens, its own rules and its own reports. We decided against it.
Our thinking was that an advertiser who already runs Amazon on Adbrew shouldn’t have to learn a second product. The concepts they rely on should work the same way on Walmart, and they should be able to move between the two without changing how they think. So we brought the Amazon setup across:
The same automation engine. Walmart rules are built the same way as Amazon rules, either from scratch or from a template, then attached to the campaigns you choose.
Hourly dayparting. Budgets, bids and placements shift by hour, so spend goes to the hours that convert instead of running out by mid-morning.
Keyword harvesting. Search terms that perform in discovery campaigns move into efficiency campaigns automatically.
Profitability-based targeting. Spend follows margin, not just revenue.
One view of the business. Walmart ad performance is reported alongside organic sales and seller or vendor data, in the same dashboards you use for Amazon.
Adbrew Intelligence on Walmart too. The same agents that audit Amazon accounts, flag keyword gaps and suggest changes against your goals work on Walmart campaigns.
Copying everything one-for-one wasn’t an option, though. Walmart has its own ad products, placements and data, and some Amazon habits don’t translate. We kept Adbrew’s structure the same and let the logic underneath follow how Walmart actually works. The result, we hope, is a single platform across both marketplaces, rather than two tools that happen to share a login.
This award tells us that approach is paying off for sellers, which matters more to us than the trophy.
Thank you
Thank you to the Walmart Connect team for the recognition and the partnership, to K2 Health for trusting us with their growth on Walmart, and to the team at Adbrew who did the work.
